Restaurant financing FAQ
Straight answers to the questions restaurant owners ask us most.
Frequently asked questions
How fast can my restaurant get funded?
You'll hear back the same business day. With your 3 most recent bank statements, approval can come the same day, and funding typically takes 3–7 business days.
How much can my restaurant get?
Funding ranges from $5,000 to $1.5 million, up to about a third of annual gross sales depending on your bank statements and credit.
What do I need to qualify?
An operating restaurant open 30+ days under your ownership, about $17,000+ in monthly sales, credit around 575+, and your last 3 business bank statements.
Will checking my options hurt my credit?
No. Checking your pre-approval numbers doesn't affect your credit score.
Can I finance restaurant equipment?
Yes. Equipment financing covers ovens, walk-ins, hoods, refrigeration, POS, furniture, and more, usually over 2–7 years. See restaurant equipment financing.
Is this a merchant cash advance?
No. These are business loans with fixed payments and a set term. Nothing is taken from your daily card sales.
Can I pay off my cash advances with a loan?
Often, yes. Many restaurants replace daily-debit advances with one fixed-payment loan. Your specialist will check whether it lowers your payments.
Can I get funding to open a new restaurant?
Our fast program is for restaurants already open at least 30 days. For new restaurants, SBA loans are usually best. See restaurant startup loans.
Do you fund bars, cafés, and franchises?
Yes. We work with bars, taverns, cafés, coffee shops, bakeries, and franchisees with steady sales.
Who funds the loans?
Our licensed lending partner, ARF Financial, LLC (California Finance Lender License No. 6037958), in business since 2001. Restaurants Financing is not a lender. See disclosures.
